Celtic Lacrosse Clinic Coaches Go International
Celtic Lacrosse coaches Sean & Anne Murphy have led many instructional sessions for coaches & developing players of all ages. They've taken their knowledge to clinics in Ohio, Michigan, the US Lacrosse Convention, and now to Europe!
On August 29th & 30th, the Murphys led a clinic for men & women in Bern, Switzerland. Players attended from the lacrosse clubs of Bern, Wettingen, & Zurich, including members of the Swiss National Men's Lacrosse Team.
On the second day, instruction focused on unsettled situations and team play strategies such as clearing, double teams, draws, and extra-man offense and defense.
Sean led instruction for men's players and shooting for men &
women. Anne led instruction for the women's players and the men's
& women's goaltenders. 
Topics on the first day started with basic stick skills and progressed to 1-on-1 play, then up through small situations such as 3-on-3 and 4-on-4.
As you can tell, everyone had a great time and are looking forward to more learning & fun next year.
Many thanks to Melanie, Andre, & all the Swiss laxers who took part. We look forward to seeing many of these same men in 2010 and women in 2013 in Switzerland's first World Games appearances!
